It’s been a while since I’ve written here. Honestly, I’ve been buried in making things. The biggest news is that I’m officially in pre-production on my next feature film, Terrarium, alongside producer Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious). It’s an ambitious horror film and one of the most creatively exciting projects I’ve ever worked on. You can read the Deadline announcement here.
The Los Angeles Times published a feature on the rise of AI filmmaking that included our recent short Seedance, along with a look at Terrarium and how we’re approaching hybrid filmmaking. It’s surreal to see conversations that used to happen in tiny Discord servers now making their way into mainstream publications. More than anything, it just feels like momentum is building. We’re developing original films, working on commercial projects I’m incredibly proud of, experimenting with new storytelling techniques almost daily, and continuing to push what’s possible with AI without losing sight of what matters most: telling stories that make people feel something.
